Make a budget transaction

Budgets change from time to time, sometimes you need to add credit and sometimes they need to be reduced (debit). Here's how to make those changes.

Instructions for making a credit

Open Dokio and select 'Admin' from the top menu

Select 'Ordering' from the dropdown list

Select 'Budgets' from the submenu

Select the budget that you wish to edit and  'View' on the action menu (3 dots) on right-hand side which will take you to the 'Make a transaction' screen

Select 'Credit' from the 'Transaction type' dropdown box

Enter the amount you are adding into the budget

Add in notes so that you will recall why these funds were added to the budget

Once your content is entered correctly, proceed to  'Make transaction' and Dokio will publish your budget with the new credit.



Instructions for making a debit

Open Dokio and select 'Admin' from the top menu

Select 'Ordering' from the dropdown list

Select 'Budgets' from the submenu

Select the budget that you wish to edit and  'View' on the action menu (3 dots) on right-hand side which will take you to the 'Make a transaction' screen

Select 'Debit' from the 'Transaction type' dropdown box

Enter the amount you are debiting from the budget

Add in notes so that you will recall why these funds were removed from the budget

 Once your content is entered correctly, proceed to 'Make transaction' and Dokio will publish your budget with the new debit.
