Crop an image with fixed ratio

Image cropping allows you to get the perfect image fit for your template. This article is for when you have created or opened a draft and wish to add and crop an image to use in draft.

Instructions

1

Select the image file you require, using the image upload fields

The system will check your uploaded image size. If it doesn't meet the minimum requirement, you will receive a warning on the field. You will need to re-upload a larger image file that's over the minimum pixel size before moving onto the next steps.

2

Once an image has been uploaded to the draft, click the Crop tool in the image preview modal to open the image cropper.

3

In the Image cropper, you can minimise, enlarge or drag the window cropper to adjust the image to the size you need for your draft

If a template has a locked image ratio, the cropper will be restricted to the image window's specific ratio size. Otherwise, the cropper can be resized freely or to certain aspect ratios that are available on the cropping menu.

4

When you're happy with your selection click 'Save changes'

5

Review your cropped image in the image preview modal, and click Update. The crop changes will then be placed in the image window according to your edit.
