Release Notes: 19th December 2019
Improvements:
- We’ve updated the styling of the budget icon on the dashboard to inherit the brand colour palette of your hub.
- We’ve made some improvements under the hood to how email templates highlight the most recent change
Bugfixes:
- Fixed a bug where email send reports sometimes generated the previous report created
- Fixed a bug where filtering by subcategories wouldn’t always revert to the ‘All’ subcategory, therefore, some templates wouldn’t be displayed by default.

Improvements:
- We’ve expanded data validation on template fields to include rich text fields now. Setting character/word count restrictions is now available on all text entry fields in the editor upon request.
- We’ve made changes to email template structure under the hood to extend their use to creating email signatures.
Bugfixes:
- We have fixed an annoyance where Access Level privileges were being truncated and were difficult to read. We’ve now widened the permissions table to enable more detail to be visible.

New features:
Image cropping
We’re launching a new set of image cropping tools to help you manage the images that you import into your templates. You can now upload an image and select the perfect crop by using the image cropping tool within Dokio.
Terms and conditions modal window
In order to help you protect sensitive data, we’ve introduced a terms and conditions modal window. Users must read and agree to the terms and conditions before proceeding to use Dokio.
Sendable/downloadable email templates
We’ve put the control back in the hands of the Admin Users when it comes to sendable and downloadable templates. You’ll be able to set these options yourself with these new changes.
Field Validation
Field validation is here! You can now set minimum and maximum parameters on text fields.
Supplier reports have arrived
We’ve made some adjustments to our reports to now include Supplier reports. So you can see exactly what work is happening within your specified date range.
Improvements:
- Applied image-processing library to increase the speed and efficiency of renderer during images resizing
- Users will now see 'Update this draft now' banners when a Static PDF template has been updated
- Added the ability to export images as PNG files
- Billing code updates
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed copydeck category not sticking as you navigate through pages
- Fixed highlight function that caused an EDM template to not rendering correctly
- Users will now be notified when the billing code section is left blank while creating a budget

New Features:
Video templates
Saving the most exciting new feature till last. Let us introduce you to our new Video templates. You can now create a video in the same way that you can create print campaigns. Which is fantastic for use in local centre campaigns to create your own unique offer. Grab the video details from the template and then add in your particulars to give your communication that personal touch. Speak to your Account manager about accessing this new feature.
Highlight changed portions of email drafts
We’ve changed the way that you can work with modules in the preview mode. You’ll find a new button called ‘Highlight’ which will change the user experience when adding, removing or moving modules.
A wider menu panel
Even though this isn’t a big new feature, all features count - right? So introducing a slightly wider menu panel. How much wider?
Improvements:
- Pages now have meaningful titles to aid navigation and history
- Highlight and scroll to elements that have changed in email drafts
- Better handling of hyperlinking within rich text fields in Email templates so the preview updates accordingly
- Provide the option to host the email images with http instead of https
- Add data to template report to show if override fields are present in a template
- Admin users can now download the orderable PDFs if they have the correct access privilege set
- Increase width of the editor sidebar to improve content navigation within the editor panel
- Increase the quality of rendered JPEG images out of Dokio
Bug Fixes:
- Cancelling the edit of resource categories doesn’t redirect you away
- Template title field overflows with long names
- Chrome crashing when rendering PDF proofs for emails with large images

New features:
Downloadables
Dokio is giving you more options on how you can download your files. Whether you need all of the files, the files with hosted images or just a straight HTML link. We can now do all of these things.
Webkit rendering of email partials
Dokio has updated the image rendering process in Dokio and the PDF rendering is now faster, the quality is better and we can now handle much more complex images.
Email reporting
Getting information on how your campaign has performed is now just a download away. We’ve made it easier for you to access your live campaign stats on the fly.
Smoke tests
We’ve improved our testing when adding new features so that we can better ensure that your existing features do not break in the process.
Dedicated sending IP address for emails
Dokio now offers the option of setting up your own dedicated IP address for sending emails from.
Quantities added to line items
We’ve enhanced the reporting offered by adding quantities to line items. Providing more detail for you to analyse.
