Why can't I export older drafts?

There are a few reasons why older drafts cannot be exported. The template where the draft was created from could have been put out of commission and deleted, or the template had scheduling applied to it and is now expired. Once a template is no longer active, any drafts that was made from it can no longer be made into a completed artwork. It's a function your administrator applies to prevent older and out of date information being used or distributed.
