Fields - Numeric

Numeric fields allow only numeric inputs (negative and decimal values also supported where appropriate). Numeric fields can also have restrictions applied to them to further limit the data entered into them. These restrictions include:

• Minimum value
• Maximum value
• Number range (both minimum and maximum values)
• Incremental rounding to another whole value or decimal

Numeric fields contain field validation to ensure the value entered is within the range allowed by the field:

• If you try to enter a value outside of the accepted range, you will be advised via a validation error to 'enter a value between x and y'.
• If you type or paste a value that is invalid (contains characters that aren't numbers, '.' or '-'), you will be advised via a validation error that the value is 'not a number' and the value will not be updated in the artwork.
