Email communication changes

White-label emails

We've been evolving all email communications in Dokio to become more white label. So what exactly does it mean, to white label something? A white-label product is a product or service produced by one company (Dokio) that other companies (Dokio Users) rebrand to make it appear as if the software is part of the overarching corporate brand. This will allow corporate branding to be applied across Dokio communications.

Dokio branding will be limited to the footer of emails, where it says Powered by Dokio.

Workflow communications

We've been working to add more detail to our email communications that are generated by the Dokio. We're putting more details in these communications to help you better understand where your place in the workflow is.

Subdomains to avoid spam filters

In some organisations, there are corporate security policies in place that force some of the Dokio emails into spam. This happens when the mail servers identify Dokio emails mimicking the domain name. The mail servers know it didn't send that email and it sends it to spam.

So to avoid this we have put in another subdomain
dokio. companyname.com. This will help to communicate to your corporate mail server that Dokio is a safe domain and it will allow the emails to go through.
