Image asset handling

A lot goes on under the hood of Dokio. How images get handled, resized and served into a template and then rendered into the desired output, whether it’s a PDF or an email or a video, can affect overall performance and user experience. We’ve been working on making improvements in this area for our users, and will eventually roll out the changes into the different parts of Dokio that will benefit from it. This will reduce some of the complexities of our renderer and increase overall performance.

This system has been currently integrated into Dokio initially to serve thumbnail images. Over time it will be gradually rolled out to different parts of Dokio as needed.
