Variations - Toolbar

The Variations toolbar becomes available when Variations is enabled on a template and is the primary way users can interact with Artwork Variations within an artwork or a draft.

When Variations are enabled, the Variations toolbar will be located at the top right of the editor screen. The toolbar features a number of controls:

Add new variation

This button is always available when editing a draft if variations are enabled on the source template. This is used to add new variations to an artwork.

Views

This block of buttons allows you to toggle different views when working with your variations.

Single variation view

This button is available when an artwork contains multiple variations. This view displays a single variation only allowing you to focus on details. You can use the variations switcher or the arrow keys to cycle through variations.

Multi-variation view

This button is available when an artwork contains multiple variations. This view displays multiple variations side by side. This view is scaled down and is ideal for viewing and comparing variations together. You can navigate by scrolling horizontally through the variations.

Thumbnail view

This button is available when an artwork contains multiple variations. This view displays multiple variations as thumbnail tiles. It is ideal for managing many variations at once. You can navigate by scrolling vertically through the variations.
