Prefills - Managing prefills
Prefills can only be managed by Admin users with the correct permissions to do so.
Generally, brand new prefill stencils (the framework of the prefill) are created by Dokio to support the structure of a particular template that it needs to work with. Each prefill though, can have multiple entries added to it that become selectable by a user within an artwork draft. These are the manageable components.
Managing prefills covers the following management functions:
To manage prefills, you will need to enter into the Admin / Prefills section. To get there, follow these steps:
- Click the Admin menu and select Content
- Select Prefills in the submenu
Adding prefill entries
- Follow the Manage prefills steps above
- Click the Create new prefill button. If a submenu appears, select the relevant prefill stencil you wish to add to.
- Fill out the content into each field. Ensure you enter a meaningful name for the prefill entry as this will be what users will see in a dropdown of choices
- Click Create prefill button to save the entry.
Updating prefill entries
- Follow the Manage prefills steps above
- Your hub may have several prefill stencils set up. If so, you will see a filter menu below the search field. Click the relevant prefill stencil in the filter
- Locate the specific prefill entry you wish to update and click the name to open it up
- Update the content in the relevant field/s
- Click Update prefill button to save the entry.
Deleting prefill entries
- Follow the Manage prefills steps above
- Locate the prefill you wish to remove and click the action menu (3 dots) next to it and select Delete
