Variations modal

The Variations modal is the place where you can manage your variations at any time during the draft artwork stage, or whilst building presets. It's a single place where you can easily perform multiple actions relating to your Variations.

The types of actions you can perform with the Variations modal include:

  • Adding new Variations
  • Editing current Variations
  • Duplicate a Variation
  • Remove Variations

Adding new Variations

Clicking the Create new variation button in the Variations Toolbar will bring up the Variations modal. By default it will load a new variation. If you are creating the very first variations in the artwork, it will load the first two by default.

From here, you can add as many Variations as you require simply by clicking the Add another variation link at the bottom of the modal. The list becomes scrollable when there are more variations than can display at once in the modal.

Click Save to add the new variations into your draft.

Editing current Variations

When building your variations inside the editor, you can click on the kebab menu for a Variation and select Edit. This will open the Variations modal and allow you to rename your variation, as well as any other settings that may apply.

Click Save to apply the changes.

Duplicate a Variation

Duplicating Variations is covered in more detail here.

At any stage whilst working in the Variations modal, you can click the Duplicate icon on a specific Variation to create a duplicate of it. The Variation in the modal will then specify that the the variation is 'Duplicated from [variation name]'.

If required, you can also click the Change link next to the 'Duplicated from' text to specify a different variation to duplicate from.

Click Save to add the new variations into your draft.

Remove a Variation

When working in the Variations modal, you can easily remove any variations you may have accidentally created by clicking the Remove icon to remove it.

Click Save to apply the changes.
