Preview modal
Dokio allows you to quickly preview a template or a preset without creating a new draft unnecessarily.
The preview modal allows you to easily share a link to the template as well as seeing a few details about the template at a glance. These details include:
- Large zoomable / scrollable preview image
- Multiple pages (if available)
- Preview device widths for emails
- Template name
- Longer description
- Template type
- Template ID
- Modification date
- Template version
- Create draft button
Displaying the preview modal
When on the ‘Create’ screen, clicking a template or a preset will open the preview modal. This will enable you to preview a template now before deciding to create a draft. To create a draft, you can click on the Create draft button at the bottom left of the modal window.
Presets
If Presets are enabled, but not set to display on the Create screen, you will also see a list of available presets on the left to select from when previewing a template. You can also use the category dropdown/s to filter the list, and/or use the search field to locate the preset you are after.
Sharing template links
With the template preview modal open, the URL in your browser will change slightly, allowing you to copy and paste that link to other users when sharing template links. This will take users directly to the template preview rather than creating a new draft.
