Presets - Create a new preset
In order to create a Preset, you need to have the relevant permission set. Permission can be granted by either:
- Access level (for Super Admins) to create, modify or remove any template presets
- Preset creator rights on specific templates (for most users)
Each template has a Presets section in Template settings to assign creator rights

There are two ways to create a template preset; via either the Admin / Templates screen or the Admin / Presets screen.
-
To access via Templates screen: navigate to Admin / Templates and find the template you want to create a template from. From the action menu, click Create Preset to continue.
-
To access via Presets screen: navigate to Admin / Templates / Presets and click the Create Preset button at the top of screen. From here you will be shown a modal to select the template to create a preset from. Select a template to continue.

When the create preset screen opens, type in a name for the Preset in the Details section
- 3
-
Under Access control, select which user group/s will be allowed to manage the preset.
Important: This will enable users in these groups to change settings and update the preset. - 4

Also under Access control, select which user group/s will be able to see the preset to create a draft from it. You can also assign relevant categories and subcategories to help users locate the preset.
- 5

-
You are now in a Draft Editor screen where you can make all the necessary field changes to set how you want the Preset to be presented to users when they first create a draft.
-
Because you are in draft mode you are able to exit the draft editor and return to it at any time. To edit an existing draft, click the draft title under Update history in the Preset view screen.
-
If you are happy with the changes and want to apply them to the Preset, you can click the Update preset button at the bottom left of the Editor screen to create the first version.

When a preset is first created, it appears as Unpublished. It will need to be Published first before it becomes available to users. On the Preset view screen you can click the Publish button to make the preset available to the nominated users.
Note: A preset must have at least one version created before it can be published to users.
